Misconceptions about Acting

Okay here's the thing people often say things to me like how they wish they could act but aren't pretty or handsome enough. You do not have to look like the next Channing Tatum or Scarlet Johanson to be an actor. This is a myth. Wouldn't it be boring if everyone looked the exact same? Look If you have a passion for acting or anything really don't do it because you think only a certain race can do it or that you are not attractive enough because diversity is beautiful, you are beautiful and deserve to give whatever it is a try. Many people also believe that they have to be super fit and lean to act. This is a myth. Although most actors are very fit and active that doesn't mean taht you have to go on some crazy diet and lose 50lbs because as I said before diversity is key, and is important in any film. the last common misconception is that you have to be young to be an actor. This is false. You can join acting at any age! All films have people of varied ages as well as ethnicity's etc! Although yes it is easier to have a breakthrough into the crazy world of acting If you start out young it is never too late to start as life is too short!
